Analysis of the technology of ultra-fine and ultra-fine dust-free cloth: core differences between 4008 and 4009 models

How to choose ultra-fine dust-free cloth? Full analysis of 4009 and 4008 models(pic1)

In the field of industrial cleaning, 4008 ultra-fine dust-free cloth and 4009 ultra-fine dust-free cloth are two mainstream cleaning consumables, and their technical parameters and application scenarios are significantly different. As an important part of professional clean solutions, these two models play different roles in semiconductor manufacturing, precision electronic assembly and other scenarios.

1. Material composition and fiber structure Model 4008 is made of 100% polyester fiber through special spinning process, with fiber diameter controlled in the range of 0.2-0.3 denier, which belongs to the category of submicron fibers. The 4009 model organically combines polyester fiber (80%) with polyamide fiber (20%) through composite spinning technology, and the fiber diameter is optimized to below 0.1 denier, forming a three-dimensional network structure similar to capillaries. The specific surface area of this ultrafine composite fiber is 3–5 times higher than that of conventional materials, and can capture particles above 0.3μm through the dual mechanism of physical adsorption and electrostatic gravity.

2. The application scenarios are adapted to the industry. In a thousand-level clean room environment, the 4008 model is often used in the initial inspection process of optical lenses or the conventional maintenance of equipment surfaces due to its balanced cost performance. Due to its excellent particle retention ability, the 4009 model is widely used in key processes such as semiconductor wafer cleaning (particle control ≤ISO Class 3), sterilization and packaging of medical equipment. Test data from a well-known chip foundry showed that using 4009 for lithography machine cleaning can reduce the particle residue to 0.5 pieces/cm², which improves cleaning efficiency by 76% compared with conventional products.

3. Comparison of physical performance parameters From the technical specifications, the standard weight of 4008 is 120g/m², which is suitable for conventional wiping scenarios; the 4009 reaches 160g/m² grams through the thickening process. Combined with its unique honeycomb fiber structure, the liquid absorption rate can reach 0.8ml/s, an increase of 40% compared with similar products. In the hardness test, the bending stiffness index of 4009 is 2.3mN·cm, which reduces the risk of surface scratches while ensuring wiping efficiency.

4. Comparative tests in the laboratory environment of the clean efficiency of energy-based analysis showed that the 4009 model's interception efficiency of 0.5μm standard particulate matter reached 99.97%, which is especially suitable for removing stubborn pollutants such as photoresist residues.
