Three Shows, Three Continents: WIPESTAR Cleanroom Consumables Exhibition Review 2026

There’s a moment at every trade show that reminds you why you flew sixteen hours to stand on a concrete floor for three days. At INTERPHEX in New York, it was watching a quality director from a Boston biotech firm pick up our sterile pre-wetted wipers, feel the texture between her fingers, and say — without any prompting — “This is what we’ve been looking for.” You can’t get that from a PDF catalog.

This spring has been unusually busy for our team. We’ve committed to three major exhibitions across three countries in less than a month, and I want to share what we’ve been doing, what we’ve learned, and why it matters if you’re sourcing cleanroom wipes, industrial wiping cloths, or contamination control consumables for your facility.

INTERPHEX 2026 New York — Our North American Debut

April 21–23 at the Javits Center. Booth 1664. Our first time exhibiting in the United States, and frankly, the reception exceeded our expectations.

INTERPHEX is where biopharma meets the supply chain. The people walking the aisles aren’t casual browsers — they’re quality managers, process engineers, and procurement leads running GMP facilities. They know their contamination control challenges inside out, and they ask the kind of questions that separate serious suppliers from catalog merchants.

Our sterile product line took center stage. Sterile pre-wetted wipers validated for GMP environments, sterile cleanroom swabs for precision cleaning in hard-to-reach areas, and PPE designed for aseptic operations. The common thread: these are products for environments where “clean enough” isn’t a thing. A single contamination event in a pharmaceutical facility can mean batch rejection, regulatory action, or worse.

One conversation stuck with me. A procurement manager from a generic drug manufacturer told me he’d been sourcing sterile wipers from a European supplier for years, but lead times had stretched to twelve weeks. He asked if we could do better. I walked him through our team’s supply chain infrastructure — the manufacturing capacity, the logistics network we’ve built serving Asian pharma markets over the past two decades. He took samples and my card. We’ve been in touch since.

That’s the thing about trade shows you can’t replicate online. Standing at a booth, handing someone a sample, watching their reaction when they feel the material — that’s where real supplier relationships start.

8th Global Semiconductor Industry Expo — Chongqing, May 13–15

If INTERPHEX was about entering a new market, the Chongqing Semiconductor Expo is about deepening our presence in one we already know well. Forty thousand square meters, over a thousand exhibitors, and the kind of attendees who deal with contamination control on a daily basis — process engineers, cleanroom managers, procurement teams who’ve been through the trial-and-error of finding the right consumables.

We’re at Booth S1-T46 at the Chongqing International Expo Center, and we brought our full semiconductor-grade product lineup. Here’s why that matters:

I visited a facility in Suzhou last year — beautiful cleanroom, ISO Class 4, laminar flow everywhere. Then I watched a technician wipe down a wafer carrier with a general-purpose polyester wipe that was shedding fibers visible under a UV lamp. All that investment in filtration, undermined by a wipe that cost thirty cents. We see this more often than you’d think across semiconductor fabs. The wipe is treated as an afterthought, sourced on price instead of performance. But at 7nm or 5nm process nodes, a single fiber on a wafer surface can destroy an entire batch.

At the booth, we’re showing products specifically engineered for semiconductor environments:

  • Ultrasoft surface preparation wipes (W3401) — continuous-filament polyester with ultrasonically sealed edges for ISO Class 4 and Class 5 zones. Zero loose fibers, zero edge fraying.
  • Heavy-duty surface preparation wipes (W3501) — for etch chamber cleanup, deposition tool maintenance, and the rough jobs where you don’t want to burn through premium wipes.
  • ESD-safe wipers with conductive fibers woven into the wipe structure — because electrostatic discharge doesn’t announce itself; you just find damaged die downstream.
  • Universal wiping cloths for the less critical zones — gowning rooms, corridors, packaging areas. Matching the wipe to the zone is one of the easiest cost optimizations in cleanroom management.

Our manufacturing setup backs all of this up. Over 100,000 square meters of production space in Shenzhen, 1,200+ specialized machines, cleanroom workshops running at ISO Class 4 through ISO Class 7. Every batch ships with full traceability — COAs, particle count data, ROHS compliance. We’re not a trading company relabeling someone else’s product. We manufacture in-house, and we handle OEM and ODM orders at scale.

INDEX™ 2026 Geneva — Booth 2150, May 19–22

Next week we’re heading to Palexpo in Geneva for INDEX™ 2026, the world’s largest nonwovens exhibition. This is the show that draws manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, and procurement teams from across the nonwovens and engineered fabrics world — and it only happens every three years.

We’ll be at Booth 2150 alongside our partner brand YESHE, and we’re bringing a product lineup that covers virtually every wiping scenario: universal wiping cloths (our X5, X6, and X7 series), surface preparation wipes, cleanroom wipes, swabs, and PPE.

Here’s what I like about INDEX: you can write about wipe performance on a selection guide all day, but until someone wipes a surface and feels the difference between a wood pulp/polypropylene blend and a rayon/polyester spunlace, the specs are just numbers. INDEX gives us the chance to put products in people’s hands — literally.

Six members of our team will be in Geneva, including our Sales Director Ethan, who brings over 20 years of experience in the industrial wiping cloth and cleanroom consumables industry. If you’ve got a complex contamination control challenge or want to discuss a strategic supply partnership, he’s the person to find at the booth.

What We’ve Learned from Talking to Real Users

Three shows in three countries has given us a cross-section of the challenges people face. A few themes keep coming up:

Documentation is a pain point. More than a few visitors at INTERPHEX told us they’re frustrated with their current suppliers’ documentation — missing COAs, incomplete lot records, slow response times on technical questions. These aren’t minor annoyances when you’re running a GMP facility. They’re compliance risks.

“Universal” doesn’t mean one-size-fits-all. We’ve helped enough facilities figure out their wiping needs to know that most need two to three wipe types, not one. The X5, X6, and X7 series handle about 80% of industrial tasks. The remaining 20% — surface prep, adhesive removal, cleanroom work — is where specialty products earn their keep.

Procurement teams are rethinking supply chains. The last few years have pushed companies to evaluate alternatives, reduce single-source dependencies, and ask harder questions about where their consumables come from. Having a manufacturing partner with 100,000+ square meters of in-house production capacity and stable lead times matters more than it used to.

Why We Do This

I’ve been in this industry long enough to know that the best supplier relationships don’t start with a sales pitch. They start with a real conversation about a real problem. That’s what trade shows are for — not brochures and booth giveaways, but the kind of face-to-face dialogue where someone describes a contamination issue they’ve been fighting for months, and we can show them a product that might solve it.

If you missed us at INTERPHEX or can’t make Chongqing, Geneva is your next chance. Booth 2150, Palexpo, May 19–22. Bring your questions. Bring your problems. We’ll bring the wipes.
